Out of the mouth of Sarah

Okay so Sarah said some really funny things yesterday and I thought that I would write them down. So the first was an exchange with Creed at Fred Meyer. They stopped to look at some bike helmets and bikes. There were two helmets about Sarah's size, but apparently nether were good enough for her because her response every time Creed had her try one on was, "this hat is too big for me daddy. We can't get it." Then Creed had her try out a bike. He sat her on the seat and it was a little big, but he told her to put her feet on the petals and then he pushed her through the bike section, to which she replied, "Look dad, I am doing it. I am doing it!"

The other funny thing that she said last night, that made Creed and I laugh after the fact went something like this: Me: Sarah do you want a spanking? (which we have only done a few times, and last night we were at our wits end to get her to stay in her room) Sarah: Oh yeah sure! Me: Do you know what a spanking is? Sarah: No Me: It is were mommy or daddy hits you on the bum Sarah: Mommy it isn't nice to hit!

Now here are some pictures! This is our amazing tent that can stay outside set up for years before it goes bad, yes tents do wear out in the sun or rain or snow after about 90 days, so Creed decided that we needed a massive tent. There is a possibility that this tent has been used by the military, there was quite a bit of red sand in it when we got it. And we got it through a military wholesale thing (I think!) for pretty cheap compared to what Smith and Edwards was going to charge us! But we don't take this one camping very often because it weighs a ton, almost literally. But it is great to have just in case we need to live in a tent for an extended amount of time! These are some shots from the baby blessing day. Madalynn was really good and Creed said that she just stared up at him through the whole blessing. Oh, and she smiles now! But she only smiles for me, which makes me feel really REALLY good!

What a special blessing day! You have such a sweet, beautiful family. I can't believe how much your baby is already growing up!
