What a weekend!

I am way behind on my pictures, so I totally apologize, and seeing as I can't find the camera cord at the moment I will be even further behind! But here is how last week went, and oh it was a blast! Tuesday Creed and his best of friends Dave and Dave's cousin from New Zealand, Ezra, drove to LA. That night Dave did his comedy thing at Laugh Factory where he is now going to be a featured comedian, meaning he will be paid next time he goes. Now to put into perspective of how big this is, Dane Cook, who you may remember seeing in Dan in Real Life, started as a feature at the Laugh Factory. So we are so excited that it worked out and that Dave is able to share is life and talent with everyone who will listen! (He is the funniest guy I know!) So I spent Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday over at Dave's apartment helping his wife out, she is a Hall Advisor for BYU and had to work last week and so they needed someone to watch their two beautiful girls. So I had a girls week and it was a blast! On Wednesday the boys went to Disneyland and the girls left at home were sad! But they came home on Thursday and we were all so glad to see them!

On Friday Val and I drove up to ISU to see Ell play in the second soccer game of the season for ISU. They played USU and won in double over time with 16 sec left. Oh was it a nail bitter. Ell played really well and had a few shots on goal. She is also the one who set up the winning goal. Oh it was AMAZING! I love soccer! Now one cannot go to an ISU game and not mention Ross the super fan, I should have gotten a picture, this guy was CRAZY. He led everyone in chants and cheers and he was totally decked out. Face paint and everything! It was so funny to watch. We then all went over to Eric and Kendra's house in Rigby and spent a relaxing day watchin the Olympics and wishing that they would last forever! Sarah really enjoyed playing with Kinzley and Parker. She just loves her cousins!

Saturday afternoon we drove to Logan were we met up with my parents and sister and Creed to hang out for a little while. It was so fun seeing Kirsten and my parents. I really enjoyed spending a little while with them. Then we headed home. On Sunday we did the church thing of course, oh and Sarah is in LOVE with Nursery. She asks to go to church during the week because she loves it so much. It is so fun to pick her up from class and ask her what she learned and to hear her answers. This week the answer was, "Book of Mormon, Jesus." I just love hearing that! After church we visited with the home teachers and then headed back up to Murray to hang out with Val and Ben and Ali and Grandma and Grandpa and EmmaLee. Val leaves to go back to Boston tonight and we are all a little sad to see her go away for awhile again. It is always a sad thing when we show up at the Larsen house and no one is home.

All in all it was a busy weekend with lots of fun and family, the best kind of weekends I think. Ben and Ell start school today, Val leaves and I guess we are back to real life, which is a little sad, but also good.
