Free digital prints

Hey everyone I know I don't update this nearly enough, but I wanted to let all my friends out there know that you can get a ton of FREE prints here. The email I got from them said that I get 600 4x6 and 600 5x7. I still have to pay shipping, but that is a ton of free prints and I can always use free prints!

So here are the pictures that I have been promising! I hope you enjoy them all and here is a little more on each event:

1. Camping in our house, I already posted about this, but thought everyone would like to see the pictures!

2. The Portland Zoo, I can't remember if I posted about this so here it is. The Portland zoo does a $2 Tuesday every month and I and two other friends and there kids decided to go. We had a ton of fun! Our last names are Moultri, Larsen and Updahle, so we called ourselves the MoLaDahles. There were 11 kids and 3 adults, so it was a bit crazy, but we got there right when it opened and left before it got too crazy.

3. One Saturday we decided to go to a baseball game, but not an ordinary game a game played using the rules from 1860 and period dress and bats etc. It was really really neat and Sarah loved it. Plus it was free!

4. Madalynn is 3 and half months, so crazy how fast time flies! She is big, well at least bigger than Sarah! She can wear a big 3-6 month and 6-9 month clothes (though these are a little big still, but not as big as they should be!) Sarah loves to play with her and we are all anticipating her laugh. She is so smiley and we really hope she starts to laugh soon!

In other news we went to Utah over labor day and have some exciting news, drum roll please..... we are finally distributors for Blue Chip. Wahooo! So in the next couple of weeks we should get our website totally up and running and everyone will be able to get some awesome deals on food storage! Creed and I just think it is so important to have at least something so when it is finally going I will probably have a blog about food storage so look forward to that! We had a blast until I got sick the night before we were suppose to go back home and spend some time in Boise. Well my parents are gearing up for a trip to Disneyworld and don't want to get sick, so we decided that we would just drive back all day Tuesday and let me rest a little more. I have to tell you that the priesthood power is real and the vitamin D does wonders. So my amazing husband drove the 12 hour trip in one day all by himself. I was so amazed and proud of him! We loved seeing everyone and can't wait to see everyone again, though we decided that we LOVE Washington even more than Utah or Idaho, so I guess we won't be going back to live anytime soon!

For all those wondering about Sarah's eczema it is doing a lot better. We are using no creams just some vitamin E oil when she really needs it and some antihistamine when she feels really itchy. And we have wrapped her middle and legs in ace bandage so she can't scratch it. We are also trying oatmeal baths as well. And we switched back to our old laundry soap. All in all she is doing much better!

In other news it seems when you take a little while off from blogging everyone you know becomes pregnant and you miss a bunch of giveaways! So congrats to those that are having another miracle from heaven and to those who won the giveaways! This fun layout was so easy to make with the new Grace paper (X7117B) ! I love these trendy colors for Fall and the outdoors in general!

I used the Reflections pattern 2F for the right page and 10C for the left. I used the Headline Alphabet (E1011) for the title. I used the Treetops stamp set (C1368) featured in the Summer catalog and I used the NEW basic craft buttons (Z1206) to dress up the tress a little. To attach the buttons I used the piercing tool set (Z1114) the neutral embroidery floss (Z1096) and the cranberry waxy flax (Z1086).

Major Life Changes, funny sayings and a lack of pictures

In case having a baby and moving out of state to start a new job isn't enough major life changes we decided to make a few more! With the next few announcements I am sure that many of you will think that we have gone off the deep end, but I assure you that we are still the same old Larsens, just way healthier! Right before we had Madalynn we started thinking about vaccines and how weird it is that you vaccinate a child a few hours after birth for a disease that they aren't going to come in contact with for a while. So we declined that vaccine and started more in depth research and have decided that we will no longer vaccinate our children, especially if we have boys. This led us to researching Prozac (Creed has OCD and has been on Prozac for a few years). We decided that this wasn't really what we wanted so we found that a mix of bee pollen and flax seed oil along with exercise and more sun. We are soon going to add fish oil instead of flax seed. Anyway, Creed has said that his mental health is probably the best that it has been for a long time. We have also decided to cut back on our MSG and sugar in take (you will be surprised and what MSG is in! It is found in almost ALL Campbell products and almost all processed food). We are also eating more fresh fruits and vegetables. All these changes have really helped us to feel really good. We can see a total change in Sarah. She is smarter, less cranky and more loving. We have more patience and adaptability. It has really been good for us as a family!

Sarah has been saying some really funny things lately, it may be the life changes mentioned above, or just Sarah, either way we have all been laughing a ton lately! The other day she was eating a muffin and I was trying to get her dressed so that we could go to the Portland Zoo (which is another post to come later!) and I told her that I needed to take her clothes off and she asked "is it so they don't get muffiny?" I laughed which then made her laugh! The other day we were in the car and she said, "do you see something?" I said, "yes I see trees. Do you see trees?" She said, "No, they are green, oh, I see them!" It made us laugh. She also believes that her cousin Parker is her prince and that they are going to get married in the temple. We tell her she has the getting married in the temple part right, but that she will probably not want to marry Parker, though he is a handsome prince!

In other news, yes this post is lacking pictures, sorry it is just too late to post them, so next time I promise! Madalynn is growing big. She is going to be bigger than Sarah was I can feel it! She also is so smiley and she loves to coo! It is just the cutest thing ever! Sarah is loving having a baby sister, we think this might also be due to the diet changes, she is just so loving where as before she didn't like Madalynn at all. I got a new calling, okay so I got the calling over the 4th of July and there was a ton going on so I can't remember if I mentioned it or not, but I am a ward missionary and I love it! I love learning and going back to just the basics. I love learning from the new members and seeing the gospel through their eyes. It really is a neat experience! I hope they let me keep this calling for awhile (they just found out that I am musically inclined and I really just want to keep this calling!)

Shopping and coupons!

Okay so I am OBSESSED with finding good deals and I hit the JACKPOT! I went to Albertson's today (after walking all over Battle Ground trying to find enough newspapers) and this is how my transactions went:

Bought 16 jars of Skippy Natural Peanut Butter and spent $21 out of pocket, then I received $23 dollars back in catalina money. Then the girls and I took a walk (that way I could use my catalina money on my next visit!)

So I went back in the store and bought a combination of 7 Dove shampoo and conditioner my total after coupons was $27.55, so I handed over $27 dollars worth of catalinas ($23 from above and $4 from the kleenex deal I did last night). I then handed over the 55 cents and guess what printed out of the catalina printer? That is right $27! I can now go back later tonight and buy 10 boxes of q tips and after coupons my total will be $27, hand over some money from the change jar, and I will get back another $27 in catalinas. I am not joking, I am being totally serious, though I am jumping for joy! If you want to know how to do this just go to my new blog, you can click here to get there. Creed and I are cutting MSG out of our diets and that is apparently found in almost all pre packaged food, so I am learning a lot about cooking.
