Weekend Happenings

The second weekend in February was pretty busy. We have bought everything that we need to for the basement, except the trim. Which is pretty exciting! Then Creed was able to put the bathroom together, and so now we have a 5 bedroom and 3 bathroom house! There are still a few things that we need to do, touch up paint, the trim, laying the rest of the floor down, caulking, and cleaning everything. It is really exciting to see it all coming together and to think that soon we will have more space and room to grow, or to take more people in. Who knows what the Lord has in store for us. The other thing that we need last weekend was drive to and from Rigby, Idaho on Sunday for Kinzley Autum Larsen's baby blessing. Sarah LOVES her cousins, and had a ton of fun playing with Parker and pointing at the "baby". It was a great experience and tons of fun. Happy Valentine's Day!

Here are a few Valentine's day pictures of Sarah. I got here a necklace and bracelet for Valentine's day, a dollar at Wal-Mart, she LOVES jewelry. I hope that everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day! Creed is playing in the Opera for Lovers show at the Scera in Orem, and I am staying home, I am going to the show tomorrow, and then we will celebrate our anniversary on Saturday by finishing up the basement, and going to a Primary activity, and the temple and maybe dinner in the evening. So if I don't post for awhile, now you know why!

Four Years Ago Today....

Creed and I were spending the day with family and friends at the Salt Lake Temple, you guessed it getting sealed together for time and all eternity! I can hardly believe that it has been four years! So I should probably thank Ryan and Lanelle Barber for getting married, so that Creed and I could meet at your wedding reception, and for going with us on our first date. I also want to thank my parents and family along with Creed's parents and family for all the love and support that you have given us over the years and for raising each of us. I have to say that I got the best catch out there for me. Creed is so supportive and patient. He is willing to change and grow with me. He is an amazing father, and a very hard worker. I LOVE YOU ESPOSO and Happy Anniversary!

Dilemma

I have a dilemma, so if any of you mothers out there have ever dealt with this let me know. Sarah pulls hair. Not my hair, or Creed's or Ryan's, but her own. When I say she pulls hair, I mean she pulls it out in huge chunks! I am talking about a ton of hair, maybe 20 strands. She does it when she is mad or maybe bored, I don't know. Does anyone know how to make a 15 month old stop pulling out their hair?!?

Relief Society University

New Year's Resolutions!

Okay, so this post should have been in January, and maybe even December, but here it is my New Year's Resolutions!

1. Exercise-I really just want to be toned, I am not doing this to lose weight, just to put my abs back together, if that is possible!

2. Read a book a month-I love to read, but don't take the time to, so I am going to.

3. Read the Book of Mormon-This is part of an overall goal that I have to become more spiritually healthy you could say!

4. Bare my testimony a couple of times-already did once this year!

5. Increase temple attendance

6. Develop my musical talents-play the piano once a day, join the ward choir, ask Grandma Mitton if she has room for one more student-this might happen a little later in the year, but I will ask!

7. Have fun with my family!

8. Work on our food storage and other emergency preparedness.

9. Finish the basement

10. Have a thankful attitude and have more faith and not so much fear!

So far I am feeling really good about my goals and feeling like I am really accomplishing the things that I want to and have felt like I need to. Another thing that is very helpful is that our RS is doing a program, I think you can find it at www.sugardoodle.net. It is called the Celestial Arts or something. I will find it out for certain and post it here. It is really amazing. So far I have kept up with my Visiting Teaching, and the goals that I set for January, which were to go to bed earlier and get up earlier and to have a To-do list everyday. It has been a great help in accomplishing my other goals. Anyway, I will post what I can later on the program.

Post #50!

Wahoo, I know that I can be a little slow at updating, but look this is post # 50 and so everyone should be excited! So this week has been a lot of fun. I watched Ryan everyday and he and Sarah are really becoming best friends! They chase each other around the house all day and think that it is the funniest thing ever. I just wish that when movie time came around, time for Sarah's nap, but Ryan doesn't take one, that I could find a different movie to watch. I think that I could recite Finding Nemo in the my sleep, in fact I know I could because I have seen it in my dreams! Anyway, Sarah also turned 15 months old, which is still so weird to me, I have a daughter and she is almost nursery age! Whoa! She is doing great though, she is trying to get in all four molars at the same time, not quite sure why, but she is. She also had her doctors appointment and she still weighs 19 lbs, so for all of you who are not parents, this means that she still has to ride in the baby car-seat, no front facing for her. She still loves to sing and is really getting into the dancing thing. She dances all the time, and it is really cute to watch. She is also in love with the movie Monsters Inc, which she calls Mimi. Not sure why, but she does. She also seems to like Toy Story because if I run an errand and Creed watches her, that is what they are watching when I come home. She has also gained a love of Tootie Fruities. She shoves quite a few in the back of her mouth and teethes on them. I guess whatever works! Well here are some more pictures!
