Where, Oh, Where is that bird?!?

All day yesterday I felt like there was an open window because I could hear this bird really well. It has been a little warmer here the last couple of days and we don't have an air conditioner, and seeing as I am pretty pregnant I sleep with a window open. Anyway, all day I kept checking the windows throughout the house trying to figure out which one was open and where the bird noises were coming from. Then at 5:30 I found the answer! The little bird had flown down and into our fireplace and it was stuck in the fireplace and couldn't figure out how to get back out. At first I was totally freaked, then I felt really bad that the bird had been stuck in there all day (not that I would have gotten it out on my own anyway, I made Creed do it, but still, hormones were making me feel really really bad about not finding the bird anyway.) So when Creed and Sarah got back from grocery shopping Creed caught the bird and then let it out our front door, after showing Sarah the bird first. Well the bird escaped from Creed's hands and ended up flying out the front door and Sarah was really upset that "her" bird and flown away. I on the other hand was excited that the bird could still fly! And yes it did leave us a little present on it's way out.

Handmade Pay it Forward

So here is the deal, a friend of mine is doing a Pay it Forward deal with handmade items. So I will choose 5 people who comment on this post and I will make you something handmade and send it to you. The deal is that you just have to pass it forward and send 5 other people something handmade. If I don't get 5 people than I guess I will just pick 5 special people in my life to pass it forward to. Happy Mother's Day!

We had the best Mother's Day ever! It started with church, where Sarah was just so wonderful, I discovered that you can print off pages to color from the new Friend's website, so I printed a few and Sarah loved just coloring, which allowed Creed and I to enjoy the messages given during Sacrament meeting. When we got home from church I noticed that my parents had been trying to get a hold of me. So I called them back and they said, "Surprise, we will be at your house in like ten minutes!" WAHOOO! It was so good to see them and to show them around for a little while. It was great to chat and celebrate Motherhood for a little while. Later that day we set up an iChat and talked with all of the Larsen's (minus Eric and Kendra, we couldn't get a hold of you!). It was really great, though it made Creed and I a little Utah sick. Then Creed and Sarah gave me my gifts, socks from Sarah (Creed said he asked her what she wanted to get for Mommy and she yelled, SOCKS!) and a new hand mixer (Chad broke my other one). I just loved my gifts. Oh, and Creed also got me 90 lbs of dehydrated potatoes. He found a website that was giving away free shipping and he got 20% off too. So now we have our year supply of potatoes! That makes me excited too! I am just so thankful for such a wonderful husband who helps me to be the Mom that I want to be. Creed is just amazing. I am also really thankful for such a wonderful daughter who loves me and enjoys being with me. WAHOO for Family!

The only sad part of Mother's Day was finding out that one of my bestest of friends, Kiersten Metcalfe, spent her Mother's Day in the ER because she had had a migrane for four days straight. Now she is scheduled to have her second open heart surgery this year on Friday. What is really sad is that we aren't there to help, or to support them. So if everyone could just pray for her and her little family that would be great!

Now I would post some pictures, but somewhere in the move we have misplaced the cord that connects the camera to our computer. I am bummed as I am sure so are the rest of you!

Okay I have settled down

Now that Sarah has had a nap, though she did pee on her bed twice before deciding that it was officially nap time, so yes I do have more laundry to do and a potty training dilemma, but at least the nap time helped me to calm down right?!? Anyway, during Sarah's nap time I was able to complete 14 hand made cards (in 2 hours!). So it is looking like my Mom's Mother's Day project just might get done, and don't worry she doesn't read my blog so I can tell you what I am doing. I made a card organizer for her for Christmas, but didn't get any cards made. So far I have 14 boy birthday cards and 8 girl birthday cards. So I am planning on at least 4 more girl birthday cards and maybe a few wedding cards, we will see. I will post some pictures, once I find the camera.

Funny Sarah stories

Yesterday Sarah and I had a very funny and lengthy conversation that went something like this. Sarah :"Mine other house got blown away." ME: "No we just left it in Utah." Sarah: "Oh, I have two houses, why mine other house in Utah?" ME: "Daddy got a job in Washington and Mommy wanted to live with him." Sarah: "I want to live with Daddy in Washington too!" ME: "Oh, good because we do live in Washington with Daddy!" Sarah: "I have two daddies and two mommies." ME: "No, you just have one mommy and one daddy." last two sentences then were repeated for 5 min. ME: "Where is your other daddy?" Sarah: "At work in Utah!" As if I should know that if we have two houses, we must have two lives as well. "I also have two cars and two bikes and two rooms. Let's go to mine other room!"

On Sunday it was fast Sunday and our ward had testimony meeting of course, and there were a lot of very impressive children who got up and bore their testimonies. Creed got up and went to bare his testimony, so I told Sarah, "Look daddy is going to go bare his testimony." Sarah: "I want to bare my testimony!" ME: "No you just get to sit with me and listen." Once Creed was done and on his way back to our seats, Sarah said, "It is my turn!" Then while sitting next to me she said, "Bare testimony of Jesus, and Moroni, and baptism! Amen!" Oh my cuteness!

ARGH!

Sorry, no pictures, I just don't know where the camera is and right now I just don't care! So I thought that since I usually don't vent and since I can't get a hold of Creed to vent to him, I would just vent to all of the readers of this blog. Sarah just peed all over the bathroom floor so that she could take a bath. YES, that is what she did, she stood next to the potty and said, "mommy my panties are wet. I need to take a bath." Then as I was taking her panties off and setting her on the potty she peed! I asked her why she peed all over the floor and her response was, "I want to take a bath." To which I replied, "You can ask Mommy and I will put you in the bath, you don't need to pee all over the floor to get to take a bath." Needless to say I am once again doing a load of laundry that only consists of things that have been peed on, sheets, towels, panties, pants, and now my bathroom rug. ARGH!

Another ARGH moment is trying to find a doctor, why because every clinic I call, who I can find on my insurance provider list online, then calls my insurance company just to make sure that they are a provider and the insurance company tells them that if they, the doctor's office, doesn't know if they are a provider, how are they, the insurance, suppose to know. WHAT?!? So I am 34 weeks today and haven't seen a doctor since I was 28 weeks and I am a little nervous because Sarah was born at 37 weeks. At this rate I won't have a doctor by the time I deliver, which I don't know if it really matters as long as I don't have pre-eclampsia or something because who's doctor really delivers them anyway? It would just be nice to have a doctor.

Last ARGH moment for the day, I just realized that Mother's Day is this Sunday and not next Sunday, which is a big deal because I am making something for my Mom and am pretty sure it will not get to her by Mother's day now. So I guess I better get back to the grind and see if it is even possible to get the project done! Oh wait, another ARGH moment, we don't have a lawn mower and our land lady doesn't have an extra, so it looks like we will either be weed eating our yard, or buying a lawn mower.

ARGH!
